I was overwhelmed with all the participants we had last week. Got a pretty good insight on parent’s routines and what they felt about it. I hope this week we’ll have more participants.

Here’s the drill:

The aim of these questions is to share opinions and experiences among moms (or dads) in the blogosphere.
Each week a new question will be posted and I’m inviting mom and dads to answer and share their thoughts about it.
If you are participating, leave your links in the comments section.
Link back to this site inviting other parents to join the fun.
Try to visit the other participants…you will love their answers, that’s for sure.

Now, for this week’s question: What are the names of your kids? Who picked them? Any significance of that name/s?

Here’s my answer:

Name: Andre Miguel

Andre – came from the name Andrew which means “manly
Miguel – came from the name Michael which means “who is like God?”

It took us a while to come up with the name as we initially thought that we’re having a girl. We’re supposed to name her Sofia. We found out that we’re expecting a boy when I was on my 6th month. We were in denial so we couldn’t think of any boy’s name that we like.

So hubby said that he wants the name to bear the A.M. initials. A.M. is another word for Morning, hubby’s nickname. He chose the name Andre because of Andre Agassi, his favorite tennis player. I picked the name Miguel because of Archangel Michael. M0rn1ng thinks the two names fit nicely. It was really funny because we only came up with the name when we were a few weeks shy to delivering our baby.

This is the reason why the nickname B.boy stuck because we couldn’t think of a more appropriate name until the last minute. Btw, B.boy is short for Baby Boy. Oh how creative. Hahaha!
