Finally, we were able to bring B.boy to a pediatric dentist last Friday. We brought him at Little Ones Dental Clinic at MOA as this is the most convenient one to go to. We were there at around 6pm and there aren’t any patients so we were entertained quickly. The place has a lot of toys and even the dental chairs have stuffed toys to distract kids.

B.boy started playing while the dentist prepares. After a few minutes we were ushered into the room. At first, the little boy is okay as the room has a lot of toys in it. However when it’s time for the examination, he wailed on top of his lungs. We expected this as he really doesn’t want other people that he doesn’t know to touch him.

The dentist was very patient as she examined his teeth. She taught me a position to hold B.boy properly while she looks at his teeth. She said his teeth are nice and they don’t have stains or cavities. She also taught us how to clean his teeth properly.

We also had B.boy’s teeth cleaned. The process only took around 5 minutes. After that fluoride was applied. The dentist said that it is advisable to do the cleaning every six months. Since we have a difficult time brushing his teeth, we are planning to have the dentist clean it every six months.

I hope with this kind of care we are able to ensure a good set of teeth for our little boy.

uy, we also brought dwyn there last april. nice dental clinic for kids no? but quite expensive din kasi when we brought dwyn there 2 pa lang yata ngipin ni dwyn nun. naka-1500 yata kami nun. mas mahal pa yata yung check up ng ngipin ni dwyn kesa dun sa check up ng ngipin ng lolo niya sa dental clinic malapit lang din dun. hahaha. :) at nagwala din nun si dwyn. we should bring dwyn there again kasi tumawag na sila na may follow up check up na si dwyn. hahaha. ang laki na ni andre. i can’t think of him as just a 20month old toddler. feeling ko kid na sya! :)

Hi! Magaling nga ba mga dentist there? I’m canvassing for a pedia dentist for my little girl too. She’s 14 months old and has 8 teeth. I’m also looking at Kids Dental Clinic which has clinics at SM San Lazaro and SM Manila. The dentist there are ok. I’m putting off going because I’m sure Belle will howl at other people trying to get at her mouth.

Sorry for the late reply Jenny. I’ve been swamped these past few weeks. The dentist is okay and a bit young. Yun nga lang mejo mahal ang fees just like Ann has mentioned. We paid 1,700 for checkup and cleaning. Pero ok na rin kasi marami na ring teeth yung little boy namin. Besides it’s convenient because they are open during mall hours.
